Inca Trail Day One

Today was a normal good hike I would call it, I think about 6 miles, with a nice lunch stop. Didn't expect the first day to be so spectacular: mountains all around, esp Mt Veronica, and already spectacular ruins.

Veronica mtn; a grazing horse

Mt. Veronica and an amazing century plant; chicha delivery

The Ladies!

Another Inca lookout on the trail; bridge at our lunch spot

On the trail: day one

Another donkey; fence on the trail

A donkey and Ted- you decide which is which.
