Inca Trail Day Two-the Big Pass

Day two: we woke up at 5:40am to be on the trail by 630--the trail started by going up a steep set of stairs and never let up, never. Imagine being on a stair master for nearly 5 hours. We started the day at just over 9,000 feet, and topped out at 13,776 feet. Did I mention it was up? Up and Up and Up@

Our task today: up!

Ted and Nidiana; Hiking up through the cloud forest/jungle for a long part of the am.
