I had big hopes of mastering long night exposures to soak in the stars and the milky way, or mastering star trails. Unfortunately, we had a strong moon to deal with every night; I never had a good wide open space nearby to take images; and I never got to practice my techniques enough before hand. As you can see on the one above, I left the exposure open too long (about 2 minutes I think) and the natural rotation of the earth started to blur the stars. Below are two other attempts, neither really successful--oh well, next time!
